Uzo is selling The Residence, the brand new Shonda Rhimes Netflix present. Per CBS, “Aduba performs Cordelia Cupp, the most effective detective on the earth…[who is] referred to as in to research each individual on the White Home after a mysterious dying throughout a state dinner and is reluctantly paired with an FBI agent.” I believed the preview seemed good, and truthfully, this blurb positively does make me wish to watch it. (Hopefully, Shonda bought out all her Alias-associated yayas with the again half of Scandal and nobody goes to be ripping out somebody’s enamel to torture the reality out of them on this one.) It won’t shock you to see that Uzo appears completely competent and cheap right here — we discovered in her fashion retrospective that she is GREAT at a day gown — though I hate to report that, for a girl whose sneakers was reliably attention-grabbing, she has opted for extra normal footwear this time.
