The Restore Store‘s horologist Steve Fletcher posted a selfie from his “catch-up” with former host Jay Blades on social media. 

Taking to his Instagram Tales, the clockwork skilled shared a photograph of the smiling pair alongside the caption: “In a break from our ‘Secrets and techniques From the Barn’ Tour, I popped in to see Jay the opposite day for a cup of tea and a stunning chat (not that the tea wasn’t beautiful). 

“It was nice to catch up. Hope to see him once more quickly.”

The pair’s reunion comes after Jay was reportedly axed from the BBC collection after being charged with controlling and coercive behaviour in direction of his estranged spouse Lisa Zbozen in September. Jay has denied the allegations.

In October, Jay, who was honoured with an MBE in 2021 for companies to craft, pleaded not responsible to participating in controlling or coercive behaviour in direction of his estranged spouse at Worcester Crown Court docket, one month after being charged.
