Eurovision this week introduced its 2025 theme and unveiled its stage design.

Impressed by the Swiss custom of direct democracy, which revolves round listening and dialogue, Artwork Director Artur Deyneuve selected ‘listening’ because the central guiding theme of Basel 2025, calling it ‘Unity Shapes Love’.

Deyneuve says: “If we hear to at least one one other, we discover love.”
