The New York Pops threw a forty second birthday bash for itself, and I used to be confused for a second how Sofia Carson landed on the visitor listing — not that she will’t sing; I simply don’t usually affiliate her with New York musical galas — after which I learn that it was a tribute to Diane Warren, and Sofia collaborated together with her on 2023’s Oscar-nominated “Applause” (which Sofia carried out). She appeared fairly excited on Instagram to be acting at Carnegie Corridor, and who can blame her? Plus, she isn’t NOT doing absolutely the most.
