Social media is reacting to Joe Biden’s choice to step down because the Democratic nominee for president.

NBC Information reviews that the 81-year-old made the announcement on Sunday, July 21.

The chief of the U.S. took to X, previously generally known as Twitter, to make the announcement. He said, “I consider it’s in the most effective curiosity of my social gathering and the nation for me to face down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the rest of my time period.” Moreover, Biden stated that he would tackle the general public later within the week about his “choice” to drop out.

Social media freely weighed in on Joe’s choice. Some X customers have been confused and anxious about what would happen now that the President was now not operating.

The President endorsed his VP, Kamala Harris to take his spot. Biden stated that he’s giving her his “full help” and urged “Democrats…to come back collectively to beat Trump.”
