Darkish Mode, a brand new drama challenge with Picket Horse has been chosen as a recipient of Display Australia’s Dynamic Tv Scripted Initiative.

Created by Anna Barnes (pictured) the challenge is predicated on the novel of the identical title by Ashley Kalagian Blunt.

The thriller, from government producers Jude Troy and Richard Finlayson (Mom & Son), will obtain $100,000 in growth funding ($50,000 from Display Australia and $50,000 from Dynamic Tv) to assist carry the story to life.

The Dynamic Tv Scripted Initiative is a collaboration between Display Australia and Los Angeles-based Dynamic Tv designed to assist distinctive scripted tv initiatives with potential for world success. Darkish Mode is the second challenge to be chosen within the Initiative, with crime thriller sequence Fox Hunt, from author/producer Nicole Delprado and producer Kate Separovich, introduced in October 2024.

Darkish Mode is a tech-thriller that follows Dr Reagan Walton, a GP whose life is turned the wrong way up by a stalker. In an try to regain management, she erases all traces of her on-line presence – going into ‘darkish mode.’ However when a serial killer with an internet following resurfaces in Sydney, Reagan is compelled to confront her previous.
