Entries have now opened for the Southern Mild Award forward of the Australian Worldwide Documentary Convention.

The $5,000 money prize is introduced to an Australian business skilled for his or her excellent contribution to nonfiction display screen, digital and / or audio media.

Nominees is usually a producer, director, editor, cinematographer, sound recordist, presenter, facilitator, educator, broadcaster, distributor, commissioning editor or any career deemed important throughout the nonfiction display screen, digital and/or audio media sector.

Nominations can solely be made by present AIDC members and is an Australian citizen or everlasting resident. Nominations might be judged and a winner chosen in a secret poll by the AIDC Board of Administrators.

The winner of the 2025 Southern Mild Award might be invited to talk on the AIDC Awards Presentation on Wednesday 5 March 2025.
