Following James Earl Jones‘ demise on Sept. 9 on the age of 93, many in Hollywood shared reminiscences and tributes to the actor, who was recognized for his deep and iconic voice which might be heard in movies like Star Wars and The Lion King.

Mark Hamill—who performed Luke Skywalker to Jones’ Darth Vader in Star Wars—had a particular message for his onscreen father, writing on Instagram, “One of many world’s best actors whose contributions to Star Wars had been immeasurable. He’ll be drastically missed. #RIP dad”

As Star Trek alum LeVar Burton famous, “There’ll by no means be one other of his specific mixture of graces.”
