Former Dodgers star Julio Urias has simply been suspended for roughly half the 2025 season … after the MLB introduced the pitcher violated its home violence coverage.

Commissioner Rob Manfred revealed the punishment on Wednesday … almost two years after Urias was accused of roughing up his spouse outdoors of BMO Stadium in Los Angeles following an LAFC vs. Inter Miami matchup.

“The Workplace of the Commissioner of Baseball has accomplished its investigation into allegations that free agent pitcher Julio Urías violated Main League Baseball’s Joint Home Violence, Sexual Assault and Little one Abuse Coverage,” the commish stated in an announcement.

“Having reviewed all the obtainable proof, I’ve concluded that Mr. Urías violated our Coverage and that self-discipline is suitable.”

Urias — who sat out all the 2024 season — will likely be allowed to be reinstated from the restricted listing on July 17, Manfred stated.
