U.S. Homeland Safety Secretary Kristi Noem was rushed to a Washington, D.C. hospital by ambulance Tuesday.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin tells TMZ … Noem had an allergic response at present, and was transported to the hospital out of an abundance of warning.
We’re informed Noem is alert and recovering — in order that’s a superb signal.
This comes every week after a chaotic second throughout a press briefing in Los Angeles, following the activation of Nationwide Guard and Marine troops in response to protests in opposition to ICE raids focusing on undocumented immigrants — when U.S. Senator Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) walked in and tried to ask her a query … and bought cuffed and detained on the spot.
DHS later confirmed Noem met with Padilla for quarter-hour after his transient detainment.
It’s clearly been a whirlwind week for Noem — and now she’s capping it off in a hospital mattress.
