A helicopter plummeted from the skies above New York Metropolis on Thursday, crashing into the Hudson River — and the terrifying incident was caught on video.

In line with police, the helicopter got here down close to Pier 25, between West Avenue and Canal Avenue shortly after 3 PM native time.
Witnesses reportedly described listening to a “loud thumping noise” on the time of the crash.
Emergency boats responded to the crash and reportedly pulled 2 individuals from the craft. Life-saving efforts have been carried out on not less than one sufferer.
