Apple TV+ revealed the trailer for “Disclaimer,” the acclaimed psychological thriller advised in seven chapters, starring Academy Award winners Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline, and Academy Award nominee Sacha Baron Cohen. Written and directed by five-time Academy Award winner Alfonso Cuarón, “Disclaimer” will make its international debut on Friday, October 11, 2024 with its first two episodes, adopted by new episodes each Friday.
Acclaimed journalist Catherine Ravenscroft (Blanchett) constructed her status revealing the misdeeds and transgressions of others. When she receives a novel from an unknown writer, she is horrified to understand she is now the primary character in a narrative that exposes her darkest secrets and techniques and threatens to destroy her household.
As Catherine races to uncover the author’s true identification, she is compelled to confront her previous earlier than it destroys her life and her relationships along with her husband Robert (Baron Cohen) and son Nicholas (Kodi Smit-McPhee).
