When Manny Singer’s spouse dies, his younger daughter Molly turns into mute and withdrawn. To assist deal with taking care of Molly, he hires sassy housekeeper Corrina Washington, who coaxes Molly out of her shell and reveals father and daughter a complete new lifestyle. Manny and Corrina’s friendship delights Molly and enrages the opposite townspeople.
