Acclaimed UK drama Nolly is getting a Free to Air screening on ABC (assessment is right here).
Helena Bonham Carter stars in Nolly, which portrays the reign, and fall from grace, of British TV legend Noele Gordon (Crossroads).
Within the three half collection, author Russell T Davies (Physician Who, Queer as Folks, It’s a Sin) explores how the institution activates girls who refuse to play by the principles, the ladies it can not perceive and the ladies it fears.

Chloe Harris (Sherwood, The Spanish Princess) is Susan Hanson, who performed fan favorite Miss Diane. Lloyd Griffith (Ted Lasso, It’s A Sin) is Paul Henry, who performed handyman Benny. Bethany Antonia (Home of the Dragon, Keep Shut) stars as Poppy Ngomo, a younger actor thrown into the world of Crossroads, Con O’Neill (Glad Valley, Uncle) stars as Jack Barton, producer of Crossroads, with Tim Wallers (The Windsors, Belgravia) taking part in Barton’s boss, and ATV’s Controller of Programming.
BAFTA-winner Peter Hoar (It’s A Sin, The Final of Us) directs, ITV’s Head of Drama, Polly Hill, oversees manufacturing and the collection is govt produced by Nicola Shindler (It’s A Sin, Glad Valley, Queer as Folks), Russell T Davies and Peter Hoar. Collection producer is BAFTA-winner Karen Lewis (The Salisbury Poisonings, Years and Years). The collection is produced by Quay Road Productions, the primary drama beneath Nicola Shindler’s new manufacturing banner with ITV Studios.
