Shannon Sharpe diverted from sports activities speak on his podcast “Evening Cap” to apologize to Nicki Minaj over a perceived slight.
Shannon Sharpe shortly apologized to rap icon Nicki Minaj after turning into a subject on her new Banned From NO verse.
On an episode of Sharpe’s sports activities podcast, Evening Cap with Chad Ochocinco, he mentioned he had no situation with Minaj.
Sharpe defined he was as soon as videoed saying, “Nicki Who?,” in response to a fan asking if the Grammy-winning rapper would seem on Membership Shay Shay, Sharpe’s interview podcast.
The host defined mentioned he was dismissing the considered having conservative commentator Nikki Haley on his present.
“I used to trip with folks. I used to be speaking about Nikki Haley,” Sharpe clarified. “Nikki Haley mentioned, ‘It’s actually nice for everyone of Black America,’ and I used to be like …‘When has it ever been nice?’”
Sharpe gave an open invitation to the PinkPrint rapper to be a part of him on Membership Shay Shay anytime. Moreover, he insisted that he was not so “conceited” that he wouldn’t know the rapper or her accomplishments.
“Nicki, I used to be not attempting to be disrespectful. In fact, I do know who you’re. I might be remiss to say that I believed you knew who I used to be or that you simply knew something about Membership Shay Shay. I’m not that conceited. Nicki, I apologize. I meant no disrespect. You’ll all the time have an open invitation in case you ever wish to come sit down and have a dialog. Even in case you simply wish to have a personal dialog on the cellphone or one thing. The verse on Lil Wayne’s new track Banned From No is seen by some as a gentle jab.
“Bout to cop you slides, all you do is flip-flop / If I ship a pic of Shannon, you ain’t that Sharpe,” Minaj rapped.
Nonetheless, as Minaj is thought to interact in public disputes, Shannon determined he didn’t need beef.
