Smith’s album “Based mostly on a True Story” dropped on Friday — his first full-length solo challenge in 20 years, and it instantly confronts the fallout from slapping Chris Rock.
The album’s opening track, “Int. Barbershop – Day” — that includes DJ Jazzy Jeff and B. Simone — kicks off with the road, “Will Smith is canceled.”
From there, it is all riffing and gossip about Smith, with traces like, “Who the f*** Will Smith suppose he’s?” and “I ain’t by no means gone forgive him for that stuff he did.”
