Dan Hennessey, a veteran Canadian voice actor behind many iconic cartoon characters, has died, TMZ has realized.
Dan’s household tells TMZ … he died Wednesday at dwelling in his sleep from issues related to Parkinson’s illness.
You’ve undoubtedly heard his voice in some unspecified time in the future — he voiced Chief Quimby on “Inspector Gadget,” George Raccoon on “The Raccoons,” Father Bear on “Little Bear” and Braveheart on “The Care Bears.”
He additionally lent his voice to a ton of different characters, together with roles in “RoboCop,” “Babar,” “Beetlejuice,” and “X-Males: The Animated Sequence.”
Dan’s family members are remembering him as “an unbelievable son, brother, husband, father, buddy, and performer.”
The household provides … “We’re so touched by all these letting us understand how he impacted them by means of his craft, from stage to voice appearing and path.
