Completed sailor Charlie St. Cloud has the adoration of his mom Claire and his little brother Sam, in addition to a university scholarship that can lead him removed from his sleepy Pacific Northwest hometown. However his vivid future is lower brief when tragedy strikes and takes his goals with it. After highschool classmate Tess returns residence unexpectedly, Charlie grows torn between honoring a promise he made 4 years earlier and transferring ahead with newfound love.
